Until & Since — what the app stores, what it doesn't, and your choices.

This Privacy Policy explains how Until & Since ("the app") handles information. The app is developed and published by Marton Palotai, an individual developer trading as O Twist Games ("we", "us", "our").

Until & Since does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There is no account to create, the app makes no network requests, and it contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking software of any kind. Everything you enter stays on your device.

1. Information stored only on your device

The following is saved locally on your iPhone or iPad and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else:

  • The dates you add: title, date and optional time, whether it repeats yearly, colour, icon, notes, whether a reminder is on, and whether the date is pinned.
  • Your preferences: theme, appearance (light, dark or system), how counts are shown, and the reminder time.

This information is kept in the app's own storage, inside an App Group container that is shared only with the app's widgets so they can show your dates. It is included in your normal device backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) under Apple's terms, not ours. We have no access to it.

2. What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, calendar, health data, advertising identifiers or device identifiers. We do not build profiles and we do not track you across other apps or websites. The app does not connect to the internet, so no IP address or usage data reaches us.

3. Reminders

Reminders are optional local notifications that iOS schedules on your device. The app asks for notification permission only when you turn a reminder on, and nothing is sent to a server. You can turn reminders off per date in the app, or for the whole app in iOS Settings.

4. Export

Export creates a JSON file containing your dates. You choose where to save or share it through the standard iOS share sheet. The file is created on your device and we never receive it.

5. Third parties

The app contains no third-party code and uses no third-party services. It loads no remote content and no web fonts. Your purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

6. Children

The app is rated 4+ and contains no content, purchases or data collection aimed at children or at anyone else.

7. Your choices and deleting your data

  • Deleting a date in the app removes it immediately.
  • Deleting the app removes everything the app stored on your device.
  • Notification permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. If you have a question about your rights, you can still write to us at support@otwistgames.com.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version is published on this page with a new "last updated" date. If a future version of the app ever started processing data in a new way, we would update this policy before that version is released.
